JAHOTA CHAKOLI RED TABLECLOTH

Jahota is a complex printing and dyeing process which originated in Rajasthan.
The fabric is block printed with black, red and ochre natural dyes, then printed again with dabu,
the mud resist paste which blocks out the ochre and red motifs. After drying in the desert
sun the fabric is dipped in the indigo vat. The result is a shimmering textile full of rich depth and color.

Care ~ Hand or machine wash cold separately and
delicately with a gentle pH neutral liquid soap.
Do not wring. Line dry in shade. Steam iron if desired.
